On Friday 2nd September 2022, at The Red Lion, Heytesbury, we stood in for the dancing entertainment for a 50th birthday party in a marquee in the pub gardens.
Once again Neighbourcare must thank Debbie and Ian Thurlow and The Golden Eagles Linedance Club for their kind donation of £70. This was raised from a 50th birthday party where they entertained the guests with their dancing. Hard work but fun.

Last Saturday (27 July2019) The Golden Eagles were invited to do a Linedance lesson for Stephanie and Claire’s birthday party. The theme for their party was a Hoe Down and most guests were dressed up their fancy dress outfits. The party started at 5.00 pm and our slot was due to start at 7.30, and we got under way at 8.00 pm. Approximately 35 dancers took to the grass for the first dance, a few dropped out for the second dance and by the time we got to the fourth dance we still had a large group dancing, and they did very well indeed.
They had so much fun we received a very kind donation of £50, which we will be passing on to Andover Neighbourcare. A big thank you to Jean for standing at the back so the dancers could still see the moves. Also thank you to Ian for sorting out the PA system so that we could have music and instructions. I think I can safely say everyone had a good time, and as an added bonus the rain stayed away and the sun shone for us.
We would like to thank all the people and Companies who very
kindly gave donations to our Christmas 2018 raffle.
